The mission at Tactical Rescue Services (TRS) is to provide the most up to date training, information, product reviews and services. We do our best to present this information at a level that participants can practically understand, absorb, and utilize. By focusing on experience levels, fundamentals, core education, and practical applications, our methods are designed not to flood the participant with impractical amounts of information, but rather to gradually add information and skill on a subject as it is absorbed and applied by the level of the individual.
We believe that tactile learning is the best retention method (also known as the “hands on approach”). It is an effective method where participants learn the most efficiently and retention is at its highest. Classroom sessions are kept as minimal as possible and practical training is seen as the higher priority.
Equipment education is also an essential part to our mission; our staff and instructors believe in all levels of consumers knowing what they are purchasing and in making educated product choices.
TRS believes that we are not, and will never be, “experts,” thus training never stops. In our view, there are always new methods and skills to learn and utilize. Just as we learn from other industry instructors, we also learn from our customers and students. Our staff is always expanding their knowledge through practical experience, continuing education and additional training.
It is our goal to increase tactical and rescue awareness, survival rates and response times through education, events and training with the end result of empowering individuals who will make a difference in the real world.
