The virus outbreak of 2020 has caused a lot of issues for small businesses in the United States. I will not be covering my opinions on the issue, but more how it has affected TRS.
In early March we were informed that our scheduled spring classes for FEMA had been canceled due to the outbreak. This in itself caused some serious financial issues for our small company. Then a month later the NAEMT issued a statement that they would not approve any TECC classes for fear of virus spread. These two issues along with our Governor closing businesses that were seen as “Non-Essental” placed TRS in a tailspin.
“Isn’t there Government assistance for small business?” You may ask yourself. Well there is, but TRS does not meet any of the guidelines or requirements to be eligible for the assistance. It was decided to put TRS into a hibernation until this virus scare passes and restrictions are lifted.
TRS will no longer handle retail or sales due to the large loss of revenue. We will keep what got us started in the beginning…offering quality training and experiences to our customers. Our company has reorganized and rebranded to reflect the structuring of our resources and our company goals.
Tactical Rescue Solutions (TRS) will continue to bring you quality instruction from experienced instructors in the near future. Watch for announcements that will include classes, online instruction and events TRS will be hosting and involved with.
Thank you for your continued support!
